The Intimidation of My 1st Post/The "Indi-Duction"

The white, blank space...the space that I should be composing & following with words have been intimidating my butt. Ever since I have made the website/blog (which was 2 days ago), I have been trying to figure out what my 1st post would be. I want my 1st post & all of my post to be "a great read" with a fun, but meaningful twist. So, with my The Weeknd playlist blasting in my ears & a few questions that some of my lovely Facebook friends/minions submitted to me via my inbox, with no further waiting...This is "The Indi-Duction"...

Q: When did you first notice you had a passion for fashion? BTW, you rock it well... {Submitted by M. Condoll}

A: Thank you, darling for the compliment. I actually noticed my passion for fashion about 6 years ago. I like trying different styles with my own twist of style. I try hard not to follow trends..."Trends come & go, but true fashion & style lives forever".

Q: What is pure beauty to you? {Submitted by T. James}

A: In my opinion, pure beauty is the special beauty that is held within & radiates throughout your body. A person with "pure beauty" can have unattractive features but their soul & spirit makes that person the most beautiful person in the world.

Q: Indi, you are a great makeup artist. My questions are for you are what or who inspired to become inspired you to become interested in makeup? What advice would you give to beginning makeup artists? {Submitted by J. Robbins}

A: Awww, thank you, darling for that compliment. To be perfectly honest, I did not have any inspiration but if it wasn't for my 1st boyfriend Charles to buy my 1st MAC purchase & get my makeup done by a MAC artist, (Shout out to you, love, lol!) I would have never gotten bitten by the "makeup bug".  Other than God blessing me with this talent, he is the reason why I am into makeup. My advice for someone that is just entering the "makeup world", is NEVER GIVE UP & PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!!!! There will be times that you will get frustrated, disgusted, & pissed the hell off at how your makeup is looking. Trust me, it will get better. My 1st time doing my makeup & eyelashes was a shitty mess to say the least. YouTube tutorials helped me out a great deal along with trial & error. Get a great set of brushes (Sonia Kashuk brushes from Target are awesome & reasonable) & a 120 palette, a primer, & a base...just go in! 

In addition & to continue my "Indi-Duction", I was dubbed "CNN Doll" due to me knowing about local 2nd line club events & the 2nd line routes. A lot of people would always say where the 2nd line was but no one never thought to post a route sheet online or via a social network. So, I started posting the 2nd line route sheets for every "2nd Line Sunday" via Facebook.

"Indilicious" is my makeup name & somewhat of my fashionista alter ego. I entered the "makeup world" 4 years ago & I have been doing freelance makeup for a total of 3 years. I REALLY love doing makeup. I love transforming "plain janes" into sassy ladies.

Well, I think I have talked about myself a little too much, lol. I hope I have introduced myself well enough...if I haven't, *shrugs* I don't know what else to say.
