When U Think U Know...U Have No Idea
A few weeks ago, my friend & I had a phone conversation about "being fake" & just things being shady. So, I thought if I talked about this topic to someone that I trust, that person would be 100% real...ummm, NO...totally not the case. This particular person talked about her suppose to be genuine friend & the drama that she goes through with her. My reply was vulgar but straight to the point: "Why the fuck are you still friends with her?". I've had many friends come & go in my life...I am not holding on to a friend that doesn't mean me any good. Life is WAY too short for the bullshit & drama. I know life is not always pretty with glitter & sunshine. If you know you can remove the bs to make your life easier & better, by all means do so. At the time of the conversation, I was on my ghetto life coach vibe & giving advice to this person about the "no good" friend. She said that she was going to remove the friend out of her life & the conversation was over. About a week ago, I log onto My Facebook & what do I see...the friend is hanging out with the "no good" friend (via Facebook check-in). Of course, I was like "Huh, WTF? Like really?". This fat girl was definitely in disbelief. After all the talking about this friend is no good, she's this, she's that...in my eyes, the "no good" friend can not be that damn bad if you are still hanging out with her. That really made me think...if you are talking all this crap about her to me, I know you are talking crap about me to her. The same night, I get a phone call from my male friend saying that 1 of my close friends was flirting with him...the friend that I was giving advice to about the "no good" friend was being no good. Like really?!?!? As you may be reading this & saying "maybe she didn't know that was your male friend". I introduced him to her so she knows exactly who he is & vice versa. Yes, that's total fuckery! That's wrong on so many levels! As of this day, she never said that she seen him in the club nor did she speak to him.
U Like Me?!?!?
I admit, when someone tells me that they are attracted to me and/or they like me, I really think it's a joke. It really takes a while for me to notice that the particular person is pretty fond of me. I have had broken promises, tremendous tales, & crushed dreams given to me. When a person says they like me, I really want to say at times "Yea right, mother fucker!", lol. It's sad but true. When I think the person likes me, I get "Law & Order" like, asking questions like... "When did you start feeling an attraction for me?", "Do you like plus size females?", "Why it took you so long to say something?", "Are you comfortable with going out in public with a plus size female?". These are questions that I like to know the answers to because there are some guys that like us "soft bellied goddesses" behind close doors. One thing for certain, I am not & will not be your closet freak! That goes against everything that I stand for. There's a guy I know that he claims he likes but in my opinion, he is scared of what his frat brothers & friends might say. Smh, sad! Real men that like plus size females & not ashamed to show their "BBW goddesses" off, stand up!
Eargasmic Sounds
I am in love with music as some of you may know. Iggy Azalea is new to my ears & I am in love with her mixtape. Ignorant Art is the name of her mixtape. I really like "My World" & "You". In my opinion, Nicki Minaj better watch out, Iggy Azalea is definitely coming to take her crown.
At church, the praise team song this song that I love. I knew it wasn't an original song so I went on YouTube to find the song. "Favor Ain't Fair" is an old song (I think was made 3 years ago) but it's new to my ears. This song definitely speaks to me.
I know every woman is saying that they want a "Refill" but Ms. Varner made us wanting more. The song "Refill" is about metaphorically "getting drunk" from a conversation. The song is hot! I love the beat & the lyrics, I am ready to be a "conversational lush"...who will make me intoxicated with their conversation?
I think everyone has heard "Lotus Flowerbomb" by Wale (unless you have been living under a rock) but Raheem Devaughn's version of this song...omg, sexy! In my opinion, it's much sexier than Wale's original verse. Raheem's version is definitely for the grown & sexy. Fellas & ladies, ya'll need this song on the iPod, iPhone, or music device to add your sexy playlist. Let me know what you think about this song in comments below.
This is a "Throwback Joint" but I jam to it like it is a new song. "The Things You Do" by Gina Thompson makes me want to put on some hella fly bamboo earrings & dance the night away. I always loved the beat & this song introduced Missy Elliot as an artist. As I am writing this blog, I am jamming to this song.
This particular song was featured with a slideshow of a makeup look that one of the YouTube makeup personalities "Phoenix Phire" did. I like the makeup but this song is the main attraction. The lyrics are serious. Check it out both the song & Ms. Phoenix Phire makeup videos.
Okay...that's all that I have on my mind...for now! Lol, look out for the next post...xoxoxo :)
