Indilicious Makeup Review: Secret Kisses Lipstick

Hey everyone. I think it's time for a makeup blog post. This is a review on Secret Kisses Lipsticks. I know some of you fierce ladies probably haven't experienced what Secret Kisses have to offer. With this review, I will share with you my experiences along with sharing some pics of the products.

I purchased these lipsticks a few weeks ago (when "Secret Kisses" had a special sale).  Let me give you a little information about the company. Secret Kisses is a Florida brand that produces bold lipsticks, lip gems (colored lip glosses), & lip candies (semi colored, fruit flavored lip glosses). The spokeswomen of the company are Evelyn & Draya from the VH 1 show Basketball Wives. Secret Kisses currently have 35 beautiful lipsticks, 18 lip gems, & 8 lip candies to choose from.

Packaging: Secret Kisses is very similar to "Ka'Oir" lipstick packaging. Both have the black lipstick case with the clear "peek a boo" space to see the product. The shipping packaging ensures that your lipstick will be well protected. I really like that they use bubble wrap sleeves for the lipsticks. 

Shipping: I really like that the shipping was fast...it took about 3 to 4 days after I put the order in. I also like that SHIPPING IS FREE...yes, I said FREE! No matter if you buy 1 lipstick or the entire collection, your shipment is FREE! No limits, no codes, no hassles...free shipping for ALL orders.

Pricing: All of the Secret Kisses products are $14.99. It is a little higher than a MAC lipstick but if you add up the shipping cost with the price of 1 lipstick from MAC, Secret Kisses is cheaper.

"Electricity" is a matte royal blue lipstick. It feels very nice on the lips. To achieve a true blue color on your lips, I recommend apply 1 coat, wait 30 seconds, apply another coat, & repeat until you achieve your desire  look. This lipstick does not stain your lips. Staying power is about 3 hours without reapplying.

When I 1st seen "Fantasy", I knew I had to have it...it was a must. When I finally got the lipstick in my possession, I was slightly disappointed. I really thought this lipstick was going to be a matte navy blue lipstick. "Fantasy" is a semi matte/satin lipstick. Even though, it's not what I thought the lipstick was going to be, it's still awesome. I never had a navy blue lipstick before. To achieve a full on navy blue color on your lips, you will have to apply at least 5 to 6 coats & there's no staining.  Staying power is about 3 hours without reapplying.

"Sky" is one of my favorites by Secret Kisses. It is totally matte & it is ever so smooth when you apply it on your lips. "Sky"  lipstick is a must have. To achieve full color, you need to apply 2 or 3 coats. In the picture, I applied 2 coats & there's no staining.  Staying power is 2 hours without reapplying.

Okay, ladies...have you met a man that looks so good but when you got to know him, he was not all that you thought he would be? If you said yes, imagine that man as a lipstick...that's "Money Green". I thought the color was so gorgeous & vibrant on the site so I ordered it. Even in the tube, it's pretty. I actually have to keep applying this lipstick to achieve a faded green color. I wanted more of a hunter green lipstick, not this non pigmented crap. If I could turn back the hands of time, I would have ordered "Fresh" (a grass/crayon green) instead of "Money Green". Staying power is unknown since I was so disappointed in this lipstick. No staining occurred when I had this lipstick on.

Every girl has to own a pink lipstick & this is the one to own. "Fierce" is a full on matte fuchsia lipstick that will definitely bring the diva out of you. This is another favorite of mine from Secret Kisses. Feels smooth when applying. Staying power is 3 to 4 hours without reapplying. There was a little staining occurred when I had this lipstick on.

This lipstick is definitely the bomb.com. Just like "Sky",  "Sade'" is a matte & it is smooth on the lips when applying. It is a beautiful lipstick to add for a spring/summer makeup collection. It is a vivid, matte lilac lipstick. It is another must have lipstick. Staying power is 3 to 4 hours without reapplying. No staining occurred when wearing this lipstick. 

My Overall Reaction: I really like Secret Kisses. I love that the shipping is free on all orders. My top favorites are "Sade' ", "Fierce", & "Sky". I really wish "Money Green"  & "Fantasy" was more pigmented.  I recommend EXFOLIATING YOUR LIPS & MOISTURIZING YOUR LIPS BEFORE WEARING THIS OR ANY KIND OF LIPSTICK.  The worst thing to see a female with a bold lipstick with chapped lips...so not cute! I would order from Secret Kisses again.
